Problems
They had two systems i.e. DVS and Revel that maintained different sets of data. They needed integration between both systems.
Some main problems were:
- Human Intervention in the process
- Manual running of routines
- Tracking information in DVS
Solutions
The solution provided by Allied Consultants was:
- Copy orders from DVS. Save the last sync date and time to copy new orders
- Based on Microservices Architecture using the Azure Integration Platform and Azure Logic App.
- API App will check for update and copy orders from DVS.
- Regular checks like once a day or every hour will also be done by the App to ensure all orders are copied.
- For existing customers, verified through email, the same ID will be provided for the order. Otherwise, a new customer ID would be provided.
- For products any issues will be notified to the automotive inspection team.
Solutions
As part of the solution, Azure log analytics was also provided to record all exception handling in each flow and process, perform end to end testing of all scenarios, perform manual testing of data to ensure data correlation and provide support in testing the integrations by releasing to sandbox/stage/production environments.
