It was AAA RPG Game based on Arab Mythology where the player gets processed by Jin, and both team up to go on a journey to get what they want, so they fight with all kinds of monsters.

The primary challenge was the lack of RPG games based on Arabic mysteries. The client aimed to address this gap in the gaming industry by introducing a game that delves into the rich world of Arab mythology, offering players a unique and culturally immersive experience.

Solutions

  • The project commenced with a deep dive into Game Design Documents (GDD) for a clear grasp of game mechanics and objectives.
  • Concept art and mood boards were meticulously created to capture the essence of Arab mythology and craft an immersive game world.
  • Close collaboration with the animator ensured character animations aligned with the game's narrative, with detailed feedback on frame-by-frame poses.

Technical Aspects

  • The team established the game's foundational architecture to integrate art assets and ensure smooth gameplay seamlessly.
  • Rigorous testing of art assets within the competition to guarantee narrative cohesion and provide an immersive experience.
  • Development of character controllers and enemy animations to enhance the gameplay.
  • Ongoing discussions with the development team to tackle technical challenges, including shader development for specific visual effects using Shader Forge/Shader Graph.

Results

  • The game is successfully launched on Steam, and people are enjoying it.
  • The game introduced players to the captivating world of Arab mythology and garnered positive feedback and acclaim from gamers worldwide.
